Terry O. I have been in this community for 40 years and have used our bottle depot whenever I have bottles to recycle. They have always treated me so thoughtfully. The facility has been updated and is easy to get in, organize my bottle return and get my deposit back. The staff are quick and efficient so the wait is seldom long. The owner's are always kind to staff and customers. I sure appreciate having this depot in my community.

I really appreciate the staff even if all we can do is smile and nod because of the noise and language barrier. I recommend this Depot to all, near and far!!

I applaud this depot because I have picked discarded bottles and cans on the highway for many years now (35 yrs) and have frequented many other depots but none of the others that I have used treat and service me as this one has!! They make it easy time-wise and are so personable that I will go to no others now, although they do a very good service as well.
Lyle L. There is NEVER a lineup. The staff always comes out to my vehicle to help unload. They are really friendly and nice to deal with. They seem happy and thankful that I choose to bring my empties to them. I drive from south Calgary (Auburn Bay) because they are so great to deal with, even though there is a depot much closer to my house. That depot is also great, no issues with them, but they usually have a line. The one in Okotoks is the best bottle depot I have ever dealt with in my life. I know at least one person believes this also because he recommended it, and told me it would be worth the drive from Calgary, and he was right!
Michelle T. We have been going to this depot for over 10 years - and each and every time it is a great experience! The staff are all friendly - even going out to the parking lot to help customers bring in bottles, when they are not too busy. They are friendly, polite and VERY efficient!! You never have to wait very long - even on a Saturday morning!
Dan L. The Owners (Poonja Family) are great supporters of our community. Our 3 kids play soccer, Lacrosse and hockey. We participate in at least 4 bottle drives a year to financially support their sporting teams activities. Bottle drives can be disruptive on the operations of an active bottle depot. We receive tremendous support from Zahir and his team every time. We are also involved in Lemonade Day to support young budding entrepreneurship in Okotoks. The Poonja Family is kind enough to allow for two Lemonade Stands to be set up in front of their bottle depot to support this annual event. Their pride in their bottle depot shows in the organization and cleanliness. This combined with a pleasant and commitment staff makes for an enjoyable experience.
Karen N. I love the staff at the Okotoks Bottle Depot. They are all polite and efficient but I especially like the management and the staff that have been there a long time. They are so helpful, very kind and always have a smile for me and my children. Even on a long day of running errands I don't mind needing to make a stop at the Okotoks Bottle Depot.
Chrissie C. I was 35 weeks pregnant, and when I pulled up they came out immediately and told me not to worry about a thing. They removed all my bags of empties from my vehicle, offered me a place to sit while I waited for them to count. I also noticed that they greeted everyone who entered and offered little kids a lollipop. I was more than thrilled at the level of service and will definitely go back!
Wendy A. The Okotoks Depot is kept in nearly immaculate condition. It is such a pleasure to walk in and not have it reeking like stale beer or other liquor smells! Very bright inside. The bottle handlers are friendly and very efficient. There are always hand cleaners at the register. Lots of praise should go out to the owners as they run a great depot - I've even recommended friends from Calgary should come to the Okotoks location - it's an enjoyable experience, whether you have a few or a whole truck load of recyclables. We recently had a bottle drive for an organization I volunteer with; most of the bottles being collected in NW Calgary - so we used the 4 different depots closest to the pick up locations. Most of them were dark and smells were strong. Not a very enjoyable experience although the staff in other locations were pleasant. Next time I would drive to Okotoks and have a much more pleasant experience in the local depot.

Mieke K. They have amazing people working there! They are helpful, friendly, clean and will open another return table even if there is only one other person returning bottles. They do not let anyone wait longer than necessary. The place has clean floors, clean return tables, with very minimal odour lingering in the air and well lit. There are carts readily available to bring the bottles into the building. All in all, I do not hesitate to go there to return my bottles.

Sandra H. They always go out of their way to help people who have a lot of bottle, staff comes outside and carries in boxes and bags. The depot is very clean and they have a sink and hand dryer for people using the depot. The staff is always friendly.

The owners always remember you and give everyone a friendly smile and the kids always get a sucker. they actually look forward to going to the bottle depot because the atmosphere is so fun. the men even come out and unload your truck when you have many bags to carry. Very, very small town feel and we love it.
Shirley T. The service is fast, efficient, and very friendly. The workers have been known to help bring in bottles from vehicles, and are honest when they are counting. They give customers candy and always thank them for coming and doing business with them. I have been going to this depot from High River for over 9 years now and will continue to do so.
Rose P. Each time I have gone into the depot, I have had my bottles, cans, and milk cartons etc. all in trays. They do a fantastic job of counting and it is done with haste and I have not had any problems with wrong totals. It makes for a fast count and helps to decrease any wait times for others. I have also had the staff ask if they can help me take the cans etc. into the depot. There is always someone there to keep the lines and wait times down to a minimum. I have not had any parking issues. They rotate us very quickly. I applaud the employees and all the Staff at Okotoks.
