Korri C. I have known them for over 20 years, the owner smiles at you when you walk in and takes time out of his day to talk to you. And i have never ever been ripped off there. I will always go here no matter where i live in the city. Great people there.

S. G. I almost turned around and walked out the first time I went to the Marklan Depot. The place was pristine - while there were stacks and stacks of packaged returned bottles the air was fresh and there was no garbage on the floor etc.. so I thought this is a 'fake' depot. I have been to quite a few depots and regardless of their level of cleanliness there is always a smell - not here :) Also as soon as we walk in we are acknowledged and promptly served. Kids even get a sucker.
Marcy F. The people who work here actually take the time to talk to you and be friendly. The counting is honest and spoken aloud to you as they go. We switched from other bottle depots after watching the counting and then having a totally different, lower number given to us.

Whenever my daughter is with me they always offer her a sucker. It's a small gesture but shows their thoughtfulness. I live closer to another depot but always go this one. I drive ~15 km to this bottle depot when there are others closer to my home and I do this because of the awesome staff and the efficiency of their customer service there. They are the best of all the bottle depots I have used in Calgary. :)
Delores M. Because the staff are very friendly and efficient. I am a senior and they have helped me unload my containers from my vehicle on occasion. They usually fast track me so I do not have to wait long with my containers. I am happy they have a computerized system to make the recyclying process quicker. An applaud to the staff at this location.

Marianne W. Being a member of a non-profit charitable organization that occasionally has need to return bottles and cans, we find it so nice that this depot provides pick-up, counting and payment. Ours is a seniors center and the depot is a wonderful asset to us and our community. Also, our family and neighbors use the depot regularly, too.
Beth R. I think Maryland bottle depot should be applauded because they do such a great job. Anytime I go there the staff is always friendly and smiling and they always take that extra minutes to just ask how you are doing. The service there is always quick and efficient which is great because let's face it no one likes to stand in lineups. I have to say that because of the great service at Maryland returning my recyclables is one chore I don't mind doing.
Cheryl H. The staff there are kind and do not rush and make you feel like you are just a person dropping off your bottles they actually speak to you like it matters that you came to their store.
Olga N. There is a very nice man running this place. He always says hi , how are you or haven't seen you for awhile., The line-ups are rare and short if there is one. Plus I have never been cheated in this place. The people working here move, they don't just shuffle along in low gear!! I wouldn't go anywhere else even if it was closer to my house! Things are organized! CHEERS GUYS and GALS.

Susan S. It is very clean. I like the display of unique bottles. There is a water station to clean up my hands. I always pre-count and sort my bottles, which they respect and appreciate. They do not rip off the customer, rather they have always proved to be honest. They are quick and efficient. The fellow at the cash is always pleasant and inquires as to my welfare. They keep the outside of the facility clean and neat. The bottle-counters are always very nice to me. Since I discovered this depot (several years ago) I have not been to another one.
Vicki M. Everyone is always smiling and they are fast and great at what they do. I take bottles in for the restaurant I work at which sometimes can be 15 big bags full and I haven't heard one complaint when I walk in with four carts of bags.

Joza L. The staff are always welcoming, friendly, and efficient. They never seem grumpy, and always deliver a smile at the end of each service. I don't feel like they 'miscount', and they truly deserve a tip at the end. I am nearer another depot, but I find that the customer service at Marklan is exponentially better.
